The Z125 PRO is Kawasaki’s nimblest Supernaked models to date – the baby of the Z family. Ideal for navigating the urban jungle, it comes equipped with features like an inverted front fork, offset laydown rear suspension, and front and rear petal disc brakes – a clear indication of the high level of riding performance intended for these models. Designed to have a sporty character, the quick-revving 125cc engine pulls smoothly right to its redline. Superior passing performance is handy when riding in city traffic. Simple and reliable air-cooled, SOHC, 2-valve Single revs smoothly to the high-rpm range, with strong acceleration in the everyday range. Maximum power is 7.1 kW (9.6 PS). The Z125 PRO engine is fitted with a high quality oil filter for a longer engine life.
Fuel injection ensures stable fuel delivery regardless of outside air temperature or atmospheric pressure. It also ensures excellent starting characteristics, whether the engine is hot or cold. 2.6 L air cleaner is positioned above and forward of the cylinder head, contributing to the sporty power feeling and helping to minimise intake noise. The 24 mm diameter throttle body contributes to the quick-revving character. Longnose type injector contributes to the sporty power feeling.
The Z125 PRO has an easy to operate manual clutch for those looking to enjoy greater control as they navigate the urban jungle. Link-type shift lever, similar to that found on larger displacement models, reduces the input load required to shift gears. Rider footrest are the same high quality footrest used on larger Z models.

Cast wheels with road tyres offering good grip in dry and wet conditions. The 12” cast aluminium wheels reduce unsprung weight, and are fitted with onroad tubeless tyres for great sporty street performance. Tyre sizes were selected to deliver sporty, nimble handling. Sizes are as follows:

The Z125 features dual disc brakes, ensuring sure stopping power to match its sporty handling. The 200 mm diameter front petal disc brake is slowed by a single-piston caliper.
At the rear, a o184 mm petal disc brake is gripped by a single piston caliper. Petal discs, just like Kawasaki’s large-displacement bikes, contribute to the sporty, supernaked looks.
Two-piece exhaust system consists of a o35 mm stainless steel header pipe and sporty silencer. The silencer’s six-sided cross section adds to the sporty looks while contributing to a good bank angle.
Compact headlamp cowl is one of the key styling elements of the aggressive Z design. The multi-reflector headlamp throws a clear beam of light, facilitating night-time visibility.
Sharp taillight design enhances the sporty look of the rear. LED double “Z” pattern.
Adding to the aggressive Supernaked design, the slim fuel tank is flared at the top edges and slants forward. Ignition switch is located at the front of the tank, adding to the bikes’ sporty, image and a tidy cockpit design.
30mm diameter inverted front fork offers excellent rigidity while keeping unsprung weight low for sporty riding potential. It features a lightweight aluminium upper triple clamp and has a long 100mm stroke. Settings give the Z125 PRO nimble handling.
Offset laydown rear suspension enables a compact package while contributing to sporty handling. The linkage ratios and shock’s mounting angle were optimised for this model to ensure superb shock action and excellent ride comfort. Rear shock is 4-way preload adjustable, allowing riders to set the preload for their weight, and to adjust for tandem riding.
Instrument console combines a race analogue-style tachometer with a multi-function LCD screen. In addition to premium features like a gear position indicator and fuel gauge, the instruments many functions include speedometer, clock, odometer and dual trip meters.
Low seat height of only 805 mm makes it easy for riders to reach the ground with their feet, a very important feature for newer riders. Convenient helmet lock provided under the seat.
